Hi Visitor,
Do you find it hard to get motivated when it's cold outside? Me too! I'm rugged up with a blanket and two cats, getting some work done - and trying to psych myself up to get back out there on this very chilly (but gloriously sunny) day. One thing I do know - I only ever regret the exercise I don't do! Getting your body moving is a great way to beat the winter blues and boost your immunity. Go for a walk, or if it's too wild outside, crank up your favourite tunes and have a five minute dance party (on your own or with your kids - it's a great way to burn off some energy if you're stuck indoors with your small people over the school holidays!). You'll improve your mood and your health at the same time.
Pure Meditation Foundation Course
Suzzane's next course will be held on Tuesday July 21st, 10.30am-12pm; Tues July 28th and Tues Aug 4th, 10.30-11.30am.
Meditation has long been known as a fantastic way to improve your health and wellbeing, and more and more research is being done to back this up - a study at Harvard Medical School found that in long-term practitioners of yoga or meditation, more disease-fighting genes were active. AcroYoga - Flying Fun for Everyone! Sat Aug 22nd, 2-4pm

Join Carolyn Russell and Nicole Moyes in this fun workshop suitable for all levels. Acro Yoga is a practice which blends acrobatics, thai massage and yoga. It is an all encompassing, community practice which can be seen as a metaphor for life. Throughout the practice you will find opportunity to enhance communication and trust while also building increased mental and physical strength in this often challenging art. The bonus is, it's an incredibly fun practice that lets your inner child come out to play! $55 per person, bookings essential as spaces are strictly limited. Register here (under "Enrolments")
Extra Classes Coming!
We are excited to be adding two extra classes to our timetable. Monday 9.15am Hatha Yoga with Michelle will begin on July 27, and in August (date TBC) we will have a weekly Sunday Yin Yoga class at 4pm, the perfect way to end your week and prepare for Monday morning. Debz will teach the class every second week, and we are lucky to have Sarah Moyes joining our team to teach on alternating weeks. Both Sarah and Debz have a passion for Yin yoga, a restorative, mostly floor-based practice in which the deep connective tissues of the body are targeted, and poses are often held for a long time with the use of props. These classes will appear on our regular timetable and you'll be able to book as for all our regular classes. Don't forget that you can download the MindBody Connect app to your smartphone to make booking even easier!
