Free Meditation Class, Wed Oct 30, 7.30-9.30pm
With Jeffree Clarkson's 3 week meditation course, Simply Meditation 101, reaching its end this week, we have decided that before the next one begins we would like to offer you all a free introductory session. This is so that those who may be interested can find out what it's all about before signing up for the next three week course, which will then run at the same time on the following three Wednesdays (Nov 6, 13 and 20).
Simply Meditation is a sitting meditation and is a natural approach to achieving a meditative state using music as a quiet, congenial background. After 28yrs of writing and producing best-selling meditation music, Jeffree believes that meditation in its elementary form is essentially a very natural process for humans, with great benefits for our health and wellness.
There is a lot of information out there about what meditation can do for you, and if you feel so inclined you can do your own research, but to make it easier here's an article which covers what actually happens in the brain when you meditate, as well as what benefits you can expect (I promise it's not lengthy and scientific - it's a quick and easy read which will help you understand why YOU should meditate!)
